Alamo Health Management, LLC (www.alamohm.com)

Alamo Health Management, LLC is a Bay Area-based company that delivers innovative therapeutic and behavioral health services in a comprehensive transitional residential care setting. Alamo Health Management, LLC operates facilities that provide step-down residential care, therapeutic programming and support for at-risk individuals with mental health needs.

Alamo Health Management, LLC innovative, comprehensive step-down program combines mental health services, therapeutic programming, support for specific daily living needs, meals, and housing with the intent of transitioning those admitted to crisis centers and acute settings (ER/hospitals) back into the community. Alamo Health Management, LLC aims to put people first by breaking the cycle of clients moving from crisis centers to housing instability, and back to crisis centers. Alamo Health Management, LLC operates these programs as Adult Residential Facilities licensed by the California Department of Social Services.

Alamo Health Management, LLC serves clients from multiple counties in the Bay Area and is expanding to provide services in new locations in California. The company was founded by principals of Alamo Health Management, LLC and Oryx Partners.  Betty Dominici has a rich background in acute care and assisted living and are primarily responsible for the operation of the facilities, licensing and regulatory compliance. J.C. Wallace, John Ramsbacher, and Ruwan Punchihewa, who each have a long careers and deep experience in real estate investments, development, and transactions are primarily responsible for facility acquisitions, entitlements, repositioning, and financing.

Under this partnership, Oryx has executed the following transactions:

658-666 Shotwell, San Francisco, CA – acquisition and retrofit into a 46-bed facility; acquired January 2020; target opening December 2021.

13956 San Pablo Ave., San Pablo, CA – CUP approval, acquisition and lease-back of a 225-bed facility; acquired October 2020; target opening November 2021. 

Sequoia Living (www.sequoialiving.org)

Sequoia Living, founded in 1958, provides homes and services to promote healthy aging for seniors in Northern California. Previously known as Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services, the organization is composed of four continuing care retirement communities (one under construction), three affordable housing communities, one manufactured home park for seniors, and two senior centers. Overall, Sequoia Living provides housing for 1,900 older adults and serves an additional 2,300 seniors through its community service programs. Learn more at www.sequoialiving.org.

Oryx Partners has partnered with Sequoia Living to selectively pursue joint development opportunities.  Oryx provides real estate acquisition, entitlement and development expertise while Sequoia Living brings its depth of seniors housing operating expertise.    

Oryx has also partnered with Sequoia Living to oversee the execution of two significant capital projects at existing Sequoia Living campuses in Portola Valley and Marin.
