Oryx acquired this 4-story mixed-use building comprising 11 apartment units and 2 commercial units in February 2018. The building located in San Francisco’s Parkside neighborhood was built in 1927 and is the tallest building in the immediate area. At acquisition, the business plan was to add 2 ADU’s in the existing garage space, complete the mandatory soft-story retrofit, convert four 1Br 1Ba units into 2Br 1Ba units and address significant deferred maintenance. The work was completed by November 2019. All of the new and converted units were leased and the property is currently in the Oryx asset portfolio.
